Turramurra needs your help. And I want your advice…
Council seems to be about to tick-off changes to the zoning of the Turramurra Tower land… DOUBLING the height for more apartments and reclassifying our community land so it can be sold to the developer.
This “Planning Proposal” would give a large $$ increase for the developer. What’s in it for us? What do we get back for this huge gift?
I need your help. I'm not sure what to do next? We need council to know we care about this.

1: WHAT DO YOU WANT?
- Do you want to stop the tower?
- Make it smaller?
- Or make sure the developer gives back by building much more parking? (Certain green-ish people want as little parking as possible!)
Council is negotiating with the developer for some things. Some good changes but stupidly, another community centre at Turramurra shops? (Council has 4 plus the library) and a ridiculous tiny park. How many community centres do we want? They’re like pizza shops.

Ku-Ring-Gai Council’s voting in about a fortnight. Our chance to speak on this planning proposal stage seems to be the public forum on Tuesday 10th. There’s additional steps to all of this – but these seem to be the key ones.

I don’t know what to do next? I've put up a few posts on facebook and a few leaflets – but sadly most of the replies were from fake facebook accounts (paid by the developer?).
So it looks like nobody cares. We don't have nearly enough replies or emails or members or signatures to have any chance of success.
I don't know how to get more people involved.
