For millions of frustrated tiktok app users who are adults, we want tiktok to be a safe platform for ALL users & have petitioned tiktok legally, individually,  en masse, and that hasn't yet helped create the SAFE space that is not beyond the reach of any social media company's responsibility to create when children & adults are openly interacting without real safety.

Instead of creating more labyrinthine rules even the app itself can't keep straight & doesn't apply broadly, why not put an option to block those under 18 from access a video singly or an entire account? This protects the children from seeing adult content whether it's a discussion or worse, & protects the adults from having toddlers wandering on their channels. Many other apps have been doing this for decades, it is nothing new. Youtube is a great example. Twitter & Instagram are more. So why is tiktok resisting taking responsibility for truly protecting children?
