Hi everyone! 
Good News!! On Wednesday am, the County Commissioners approved $500,000 to make the Thrasher playground ADA compliant! This means that the renovations are on the 2024/2025 project list for HCDE to complete! YAY!! 

The goal of this project is SAFETY, not fun- unfortunately. The topography at Thrasher is dangerous and it will be addressed in this project! There will be sidewalks added to allow Dolls to get to each part of the grounds and the mulch will be removed and replaced with a safe ground that kids can run free on (and Dollie can scoot safely to play!!!) The main focus is on making the grounds ADA compliant (not inclusive) and we are FOREVER grateful!
