The TSA has already far overstepped its authority in abusive, invasive procedures directed at air travelers.

Now, the TSA's paranoia has extended to interference with the US Postal Service, which means that not only air travelers are affected. The general public, who were mostly free to boycott air travel due to TSA procedures, are now forced to accept TSA edict, which interferes with the delivery of mail to US recipients by limiting packages to less than 1 pound in weight.

That weight is barely sufficient for a book.

With our economy in the state that it is, this is a disastrous move for commerce. And it is furthermore insulting to the people serving their country or working abroad, who will -- thanks to the timing of this stunt -- not be able to send holiday gifts to their loved ones without spending an exorbitant amount of money.

It is far past time for action to be taken limiting the TSA and their jurisdiction. They have already far overstepped their realm of legal influence, and they only continue to do so in a transparent attempt to assert their power over the populace.

This is America. That is not acceptable.

Serious limits need to be implemented, and the TSA needs to be disciplined for doing what they have done and essentially attacking the American people.
