Like many others, I grew up loving the incredible How to Train Your Dragon franchise. The last movie destroyed me, but it had a satisfying conclusion; there was no reason to go on. Sadly, The Nine Realms was produced, a show that, in my opinion, falls short of the stunning animation and compelling story of the original movies and television series. As a result, I would like to declare that the show is not canon. It is currently cannon, meaning that all the original dragon riders and dragons are dead and have been replaced by the nine realms. Please consider signing this petition.

I am not the only one to think this; on websites such as IMDB, there is a rating of 5.3 stars, which is quite the contrast compared to How to Train Your Dragon, which had 8.1 stars. Also the as an anonyamous reviw onhttps://www.rottentomatoes.com/ states "The pacing is horrible, the characters look awful, and the animation is ugly and stiff. In just the first episode, I found at least two big animation errors. The characters are annoying as hell and forgettable." There are many that also echo this, and it is just disappointing in general as the orinal was so amazing.
