Hi Everyone,

The latest news is, since Highways England’s denial I have rang up AGAIN (must be 10+ people I’ve spoken to now) and am 99% sure it is in fact their responsibility. It's not so much the roundabout, its the flyover that’s their property as it’s connected to the A52 - so Highways England are responsible for maintaining it however still on BEHALF of the council therefore they are not blameless. It is the same as the work happening on Clifton bridge, it's the underside of the road but its still their responsibility. I should be getting a call from Area 7 Highways England (who are responsible for Nottingham roads) in the next 14 working days, but should be sooner as they are less busy due to COVID-19, to confirm this and discuss solving this issue immediately and question as to why it was not maintained like it should have been.
