Businesses are being asked to pay their employees as usual during the COVID 19 crisis and lockdown to help sustain payrolls etc. Businesses are also being forced to remain closed during the crisis for health and safety reasons.

This is all fair, but there is no talk about how the Govt. Of India is going to help subsidise costs and taxes heavily for businesses to protect business owners, especially CEOs of SMEs, small independent businesses, sole proprietorships, etc.

This will cause a massive strain on one segment of society and is highly unfair. The govt. around the world, including the likes of France, Ireland, UK, Denmark to name a few are coming together to provide a massive subsidy to businesses affected by COVID 19. They are covering 70% of employee wages all tax free on behalf of businesses for employers who have had to close down, and or seen a reduced turnover by 25%. 

It's time for the Indian Govt. to show the people they were elected for a reason. They need to act now and provide relief to businesses too. They need to act now. Help manufacturers and small business owners keep themselves from having to shut doors. Taxes need to be relaxed for them too. Employee wages needed to be refunded via a wage subsidy. Moratorium & extension on loan repayments, a moratorium on interest payments, additional Working capital, and extending NPA timeline can also be put into place.
