The Issue

While I was glad to hear that Change.org finally got its own app recently, there's just one major problem: Many people, including myself, can't even use the app because it's only available for Apple iOS and not for Android Google Play. This is so unfair! Many of us don't even have any Apple devices!

The Change.org platform has been a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change for countless individuals and communities worldwide. It empowers people to voice their opinions, rally support, and drive impactful movements. However, the lack of accessibility on Android devices significantly limits its reach and potential. According to Statista, Android users make up more than 70% of the global smartphone market. By not providing an Android version, Change.org is inadvertently excluding a large section of potential users who can greatly benefit from and contribute to its mission.

This petition aims to urge Change.org to develop and release the app for Android Google Play. Doing so will ensure inclusivity, enhance accessibility, and foster a truly global community of change-makers. It is not a matter of preference but one of equal access and opportunity.

We propose that Change.org allocate resources to expedite the development of an Android version of the app. They could collaborate with tech experts or Android development specialists to expedite the release. This step would not only benefit millions of Android users by providing ease of access and engagement but also expand the reach and efficacy of Change.org's societal impact.

Let's stand together to make Change.org accessible to everyone, regardless of the device they own. Sign this petition to support the prompt release of the Change.org app on Android Google Play. Together, we can break barriers and enhance accessibility for all!
