Hello Apex SoFive Roller Hockey community, 

My name is Justin Markov and you have very likely played against me at some point at SoFive/ XL. I am currently in the trenches trying to influence management to do one critical thing for goalie (and skater) safety: improve air circulation/ lower the air temp at sofive Apex.

As the outdoor temps are getting warmer, myself and many others have immediately noticed how sticky and hot it is to play roller hockey at this location- and this is just the start of spring... If you are a skater, and you feel hot as is, please take a moment to imagine how this is for your tendy, who does not have fan access at the bench (and the home side fan above the goalie is simply broken). The one thermostat that works was set to 72 last I checked, which is MUCH higher than what is considered a safe temp for hockey play. The other thermostat on the home side was turned completely off when I last checked =(. I tried to get management to do something about this issue late summer last year year, and thought maybe something improved, but given my experience and feedback from others over the last few days, it seems it was just the outdoor temp cooling the space over fall /winter.
