Many individuals in Illinois do not have telemental health coverage by their insurance providers. They have currently been offered by an executive order by our governor, but those orders end April 30th. These services need to be included as routine services in all insurance plans. Clients should be allowed to see an in network clinician of their choosing on any HIPAA compliant platform. Clinicians should not be forced by BCBS IL to panel with MD Live and be paid half for their services. Payment should be equivalent to in office services.
