Birmingham City Council declared a road safety emergency in July, but still  we see people driving dangerously putting our lives at risk every day.

We are extremely concerned about speeding traffic on our road and those around us. We do not want to wait until a tragedy happens to one of our families. There have already been a number of serious crashes and it is only a matter of time before someone loses their life if nothing is done. Now is the time for the authorities to act.

We request the following: 

• Both physical measures to reduce speed and enforcement of speed limits.
• Consultation with residents to discuss the options for measures to be implemented. 
• An approach that doesn’t just move the problem onto other roads.
