Hey, all.

Ever since I was 8, my heart, among many others', were captured by sonadow (Sonic x Shadow) art and fanfiction on the internet, and helped me figure out my sexuality. If this ship becomes canon, it will be the LGBTQ+ representation needed in the Sonic franchise. It has been backed up by one Ian Flynn in talking about how sonadow could work one of his Bumbleking Videos episode 'The Sonadow Special', as well as the official VA for Sonic, Roger Craig Smith, liking sonadow art on Twitter.

If this becomes a canon ship, LGBTQ+ representation in the Sonic franchise will be realized, and will help many people realize their identities from a young age. It will also have the LGBTQ+ community be heard and recognized by one of the most popular media franchises ever.

This year is, as stated by SEGA, the Year of Shadow. A Shadow movie is coming out, as well as a game named "SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS". We need to reach out to SEGA and let them know that sonadow is wanted by the fans, and that we need more representation.
