Make Sandwell Council act on the ASB in the Tamebridge and Yew Tree estate.

Make Sandwell Council act on the ASB in the Tamebridge and Yew Tree estate.
The Issue
99% of residents of the Tamebridge and Yewtree Estate are forced to suffer daily ASB.
Dirt bikes, Quad bikes, Mopeds and 4x4 Cars up and down the local green land and main road.
-Wheelies in the road.
-Intermediation to local walkers.
-Destruction of the fields.
-Noise pollution.
-Safety of the residents and animals.
Fly tipping has become a major part of the ASB where people now enjoy setting alight the rubbish that is up against residents back yard fences.
The people are scared to walk the public path, be it for excise, walking the dog or even a commute.
The summer is well and truly on its way and with the number of access points to the land having barriers that have been destroyed or just removed. The bikes are able to come and go as they please.
ASB case review has been rejected for a second time by the council. The police are able to do very little by way the bikers are covered with helmets or balaclavas, with no licence plates for records.
The local businesses are aware of the situation but only the national grid seem to be actively working on a way to end the ASB.
If things do not change fast. Peoples mental health will continue to suffer and peoples property will be and is, at risk for damage via fire.
The land will become a race 'mud' track like what has happened by the river already. Concrete blocks to try and stop the ASB have been moved and some being pushed into the river.
The people of Tamebridge and Yewtree have the right to feel safe and live in peace.
The entries need to be fixed and anti off road bike barriers are needed. CCTV that lasts longer than a day and street lights. Fencing and patrols.
The highway agency needs to stop letting them congregate under the M6. The river and canal trust that denies ownership of the river and canal can put barriers up.
The people of Tamebridge and Yewtree need to come together to make the companies and council do something.
- Council tax is paid for the council to sort out problems
- Road tax is paid to sort road problems (below the M6)
The companies seem to pass the book on who owns the land.
Be it the council, national grid, seven Trent water, highway agency, river and canal trust. They all own some of it so they all need to play an active part in this situation.
