Many children love playing Dress to Impress on Roblox. It’s fun, imaginative, and gives kids a space to explore fashion and be creative. That’s exactly why it’s so important to address some serious concerns within the game.

While much of the content is age-appropriate, certain clothing options and poses are overtly sexualized and not suitable for children or pre-teens. These elements stand out in a game primarily played by young users and raise important questions about what is being normalized.

Furthermore, all the avatars in the game share the same thin, unrealistic Barbie-like body type. This lack of diversity can send harmful messages about beauty and self-worth. Children should be able to see themselves represented in different shapes and sizes—not be forced to witness the glorification of one single body type.

There are also appearance features that portray cosmetic surgery markings, which is also concerning in a space designed for kids. Players should be able to enjoy the game and be creative without being prematurely exposed to ideas that may contribute to insecurity and other issues.

As a mom who grew up too quickly in my own childhood (and as someone who cares deeply for children), I'm passionate about ensuring every child has a safe, positive environment where they can grow self-confidence while having fun. In today’s world, kids are exposed to adult ideas at younger ages than ever. Games like this further add to the problem. Let’s give them the chance to enjoy childhood, creativity, and imagination—without unnecessary pressure to grow up too quickly.

This petition is not about eliminating the game, as it has enormous positive potential. Rather, my goal is to see it become fully age-appropriate and inclusive for the thousands of children who play it every single day. I also aim to raise awareness among parents who may believe their children are simply playing a “fun dress-up game” without fully understanding the content present in the game.

We are asking the developers to:

*Remove the highly inappropriate clothing options and poses
*Introduce realistic body types
*Ensure all features are age-appropriate for young players

While the creators are independent developers, Roblox is ultimately responsible for what their platform allows and this is not okay.

Please don’t look the other way—there are already enough people doing that. Stand up for these kids and sign the petition.
