Good afternoon this manic Monday. I hope everyone is taking care of their mental health in some way or form. I have been asking myself how do mental health, housing, and work go together lately. Then it dawned on me that finances and toxic work eniverments can take a toll not only mentally but also physically as well. Searching for a job is like picking needles out of a haystack, which affects your mental and physical health. The average pay for a regular job is only $16-$23 an hour if lucky. That is enough to pay your bills, get some food, and have about $150 for you or your family. You don't have money for medical or physical, so you most likely, like myself, avoid going to the doctor's dentist or any health profisal due to the lack of funds. Some of us can't even afford a lawyer we need to help with legal cases. This aging causes effects on our mental health and physical health. This cycle of mental stress is unsuitable for our well-being or our way of life.

I don't know about every landlord; I do know about mine. My apartment refuses to fix issues. The apartments flood here every week; plumbing backs up monthly, they only have one matnice man, there are roaches, and more. I pay $1,100 per month for an apartment. That should be only $850 at most with all the issues in the area and the crime rate. This pricing is also not ok, yet it is legal. Why overcharge? It is not even a safe area to be this much. I am sure some of you out there understand.
