Hi everyone, first off, I want to thank all the supporters of this petition. You all are unique, and we are making a difference one signature at a time. Let us pat ourselves on the back. If possible, please share this petition on your social media or youtube platform.

Did you all hear about the multi-unit property license? This license is for all muli-unit-property owners who rent out or lease out units they own. All multi-unit-property owners must have this license by January 1, 2023, to rent out their properties. (apartment, condos, houses) to require this license, they must have every unit inspected for mold, asbestos, pest ext. if they fail the inspection, they must fix all issues before being able to rent out to the community.

Slumlords have put money and greed before their renters. I should know I live in one at this moment. We have black mold, pests, and asbestos in our building units. What happens to those living in those conditions while they repair all these hazards? most slumlords won't even pay to move you to a safer building or pay for endangering your life as it is in your lease. (mine states we can not sue for harm done by our apartment amenities. read your lease)

as well as been researching and talking with my community next door. Colorado has many slum lords renting out their multi-unit properties. Only 1% of multi-property owners have applied for these licenses! We all could face a more prominent issue than just rent prices soon. It has me highly worried about my communities. As one percent is a very, I mean a minimal number of possible places to rent. Hopeful this does not happen.
