I enjoy using Quotev to interact with friends and understand different people. The groups and messaging features are essential for building connections, sharing ideas, and fostering a sense of community. Removing these features would significantly diminish the user experience on the platform.

Quotev is a universal platform that many use to post art, to share experiences, to receive access, create things, and so much more. Quotev has so many groups of people, and the community is so accepting.

But now, Quotev is updating on the first of July, and it will be removing groups and messaging, two critical parts in making new friends and finding acceptance. There are many types of groups, from fandom groups to acceptance groups.

Quotev has already taken location setting, why should we let them take more?

As a bi girl myself, there aren’t many platforms I can get acceptance. But I joined Quotev at a friends recommendation, and I found people like me, and groups created for LGBTQIA+ safe spaces.

There are also people on Quotev who struggle with mental disorders, and people on Quotev have talked people out of unaliving themselves. 

By Quotev taking away messaging and groups, that could bring risk to people, and make it impossible for them to reach out for help.

Quotev also brings people to interact, and allow them to express themselves with profiles, posting about their lives, and much more.

Quotev is taking all those opportunities away.
