Make private homes off limits to protesters

Make private homes off limits to protesters
The Issue
As a former city planner, I remember being followed around at the local grocery store and being shouted at because the person believed I'd supported the wrong side of a development project. He tried to follow me home. I was horrified.
Last night, Idaho's Central District Health canceled an active board meeting after reports of protesters at the homes of two board members' homes on Tuesday, Dec. 08, 2020. The board was meeting to decide on COVID-19 mask mandates.
Today, while I can't stand in the shoes of a 12 year old whose residence was surrounded by angry protesters while his mom was serving on the board of directors for the CDH meeting, I do know that invading the quiet enjoyment of a public official's neighborhood and residence is wrong.

The event also made national news:
The solution is simple: protect people. Specific ordinances must be adopted to protect public servants and their private residences.
This was a blatant intrusion of privacy.
Dear Lawmakers, please take action.
