People all over Porirua are affected by graffiti; it is starting to turn into a plague. From toddlers to the elderly, so many people in Porirua are affected daily. When children are riding buses, they will be exposed to vulgar images which are drawn there by ignorant people. Stores all over Porirua are vandalized daily, and our beautiful city is being turned into a dirty city with graffiti splattered from wall to wall. 

Did you know the government pays over 200,000 dollars yearly to clean graffiti from public places? This money is coming from taxpayers' wallets. Each year that graffiti occurrences continue, the more money is wasted on cleaning up other people's messes. In some cases, young children may also think that vandalizing public property is “cool” and get influenced to start doing graffiti as well. 

How amazing would Porirua look if there was no more graffiti? City Graffiti is a growing problem, and we need to act now to prevent the next generation from being influenced by ignorant people who have no respect for public property.
