Pierre Poilievre has been a paid member of parliament in Canada for over 20 years enjoying a good salary, future pension and paid expenses.  He recently lost his seat in his riding and the election for The Conservative Party of Canada. Now he is being parchuted into a riding in Alberta where he doesn't reside in order to get a guaranteed win.

 Pierre Poilievre ran on a platform of fiscal responsibility calling for the defunding of services like the CBC that Canadians count on to stay informed, however, he has no issue with making Canadians pay for a by-election, a cost of at least hundreds of thousands of dollars, likely over a million dollars, because he lost his seat in parliament!

Pierre Poilievre and The Conservative Party of Canada need to step up, be an example of what they claim to stand for, and pay for their own by-election!
