Curbside needs your support!

If you enjoy the casual ambiance of outdoor dining at Curbside, let your voices be heard to the La Mesa City council, city manager and planning department. (e-mails available upon request).

Right now, the DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN is being updated and we are at risk of losing the ability of serving you outdoors on the 'bump out' sidewalk. 

If this is not approved, there is a serious concern of closing our doors.

This situation not only affects Curbside and its employees, who would lose their jobs due to circumstances beyond their control. But also, to our community. Our outdoor dining operation has become an integral part of our local landscape and directly contributes to the community's vibrancy and charisma.

I am asking for your support to show the city manager, city council, and the planning department that we, as a community, desire permanent outdoor dining on the 'bump-outs.'

Granting this request saves local jobs, supports small businesses, and maintains the unique character of our community. Thus, this change is not just about keeping a business open; it's about preserving the very soul of our community.

Outdoor dining should be permanent.
