Unprotected left turns are one of the leading causes of serious crashes at intersections in Ontario. In 2022, I was in a left-turn collision that totalled my car and left me needing therapies before I could drive again.

No driver should have to risk their life just to make a turn. I’m calling on the Ontario Ministry of Transportation to require protected left-turn signals (green arrow only) at all intersections across the province.

This simple change will save lives, prevent injuries, and make our roads safer for everyone.
