School are horrible in the heat, especially when none of the uniform is even built for high temperatures. Lots of schools do let their students take their tie off or wear their PE kit, but it’s honestly not enough. Most schools across the UK have end of year exams (in year 10) and the grades you get from that get sent off to colleges and apprenticeships. Because of how hot it has been me and many others haven’t been able to focus in lessons, let alone exams. Now we will most likely end up with a low grade which could possibly affect OUR future. 
  This weather can affect us and lead to dehydration, despite many students bringing 2-3 bottles of water to school and finishing them.  
  Personally I live close to my school, but the walk home is still excruciating for me due to the heat. This is the same situation for many other people. Letting us stay at home prevents us from overheating and being in pain.
