Central Iowa and surrounding areas have a spike in traffic deaths due to poor construction. Iowa spent millions repairing roadways to perfection, just to spend millions more destroying roads creating ruts and potholes. They mark the deaths to speed related, when DOT created roadway destruction is the root. Most of the locations the accidents have taken place have been under construction for almost, if not more than a year. “Repaired” roads now are extremely unsafe and riddled with dangerous potholes taking the lives of innocent motorcyclists. Enclosed vehicles have to be extremely slow and be on top of their dodging games to avoid destroying our vehicles. Change needs to happen, justice needs to be served in honor of the lives taken and painted to be a criminal for cruising in our cities. We need change before more lives are taken and families are separated due to the painting of the media and PD of our towns.
