An FIR was registered against the unknown culprit on 14th June 2020 by an animal rights activist Susmita Chattopadhyay.
Nobody knows who did this terrible thing to the dog but Susmita wants justice for him. The law says that an FIR may be lodged by any of the following:
1 the victim of the crime
2 the witness of crime
3 the person who has information of the crime
Susmita has registered an FIR as she had the information of the crime. She is neither the victim nor a witness in this case.
The good part is that the police has registered the case and we hope that it will investigate the case and find the culprit. Susmita's FIR is a must read for all the caregivers of India. Kindly go on the link below to read the FIR:

Though the following incident is not related with dogs but it does show the brutality, apathy and coldness of the municipal corporation towards the street animals of India. Kindly watch the insensitivity of the corporation workers towards a cow in the state of Rajasthan:

India has become a nightmare for street animals. They seem to be just a piece of garbage for the corporation workers. Being picked and thrown like rubbish whether it be dogs or cows.
Is this a part of the cleanliness drive 'the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan'?
The cows are being picked up and put in shelters. That's happening in most of the town's and cities in India. It seems the cow in the video is also going to meet the same fate but probably will die soon because of the injuries she must have sustained in the cruel ride given to her by the corporation workers. Honestly, these cows are better off on streets than in shelters and the ordeal which they go through in being forcefully picked by the corporation is as good as death. They are half dead when they are brought to the shelter and the other half dies of starvation and illness in the shelters.
