Cantonese is spoken by over 82.4 million people, and is a completely separate language from standard Mandarin Chinese. The language is a vital part of the cultural identity for speakers in south eastern China, Hong Kong, Macao, and various overseas communities. Despite its prominence, it is not among the 133 languages supported by google translate. Please sign this petition so we can urge Google to add Cantonese to Google Translate.
