Women and young girls in Glasgow city centre are being followed, approached, and harassed on a regular basis.

I was personally followed in and out of multiple shops with no visible security or safe place to go for help. There was no one to turn to.

This is happening to other women and girls and is being reported. People are being made to feel unsafe in their own city.

We are calling on Glasgow City Council and Police Scotland to take action.

We ask for:

Visible police presence in the city centre

Patrols focused on harassment and public safety

Safe spaces in shops or public places where women and children can go for help

Women and girls deserve to feel safe. Action is needed now.
