The attacks in Gaza have been ongoing for over 40 days. Thousands of innocent civilians have died, including over 7,000 children currently.  

Doctors & Medical Personnel on the ground have been tirelessly working in unimaginable conditions to save horrifically wounded patients. Reporters in Gaza have been fearlessly covering the onslaught, daily racing towards danger that most people would flee from.  These are true heroes and they have been boldly bearing witness to the world, the truth of what is unfolding in Palestine.

No one on earth right now deserves to be recognised more for their courage, dedication and moral conviction to do what is right, in the face of unspeakable cruelty.  Many of these heroes have died by targeted attacks, in the midst of performing their selfless acts of service for their people. 
Please tell TIME that THESE are the only people who deserve this accolade in 2023!  Urge them to share more of their stories with the world. Their sacrifice should be honoured and never forgotten.
