So as we all know Fortnite’s last season was an absolute game changer for the Fortnite community and not in a good way. They not only added super over powered mythic weapons that already made it really hard for players to play the game and actually progress in the Battle Royal and Zero Build lobbies without having them, they also added more cars and mods for said cars that were overpowered as well and made it even harder for players to progress in Battle Royal and Zero Build lobbies without having them. In addition to the super over powered mythic weapons, the modded cars, and boss cars, they also had super overpowered medallions that players would hunt and hoard from other players and these items would all make it almost impossible to win or even get close to winning without having any of the items that were listed above. Players would take advantage of the boss cars and just run over or gun down other players without ever even leaving the cars making it seem almost impossible to do anything without them. Near the end of the season players were getting tired of the boss cars and medallions and would drop them really far into the map so they would be lost in the storm to keep other players from taking advantage of them. To some players it seemed that other players could only win if they had these items and it seemed like a very unfair advantage as the items were very overpowered.

This new season that just came out is seemingly so much worse than last season when it comes to the mythic weapons and medallions. Some players are very thankful they took away a lot of cars and the mods for said cars as well as removing the boss cars entirely. Instead they added roughly 6 new mythic weapons that are all very overpowered and make it very hard for players to progress in Battle Royal and Zero Build lobbies without the mythic weapons as well as 3 new medallions that players continue to hunt down and hoard from other players once again making it very difficult for players to progress and get anywhere without them. These items can make it very challenging to new players and ultimately take the fun away from playing the game. Players all over have stated they are going to sit this season out because of these new items because the game isn’t fun to play with other players making it virtually unplayable to new players or players who haven’t played as long as other players. 

Ultimately this petition is about making the game playable for everyone and not just the players who have played for a long time. Items like the ones stated above are taken advantage of in awful ways and it feels very unfair to some players. Some players have found it very difficult to get very far in Battle Royal and Zero build lobbies because of the items and other players making it almost impossible to do anything including simply doing quests for the battle pass. We’re petitioning for Fortnite to either nerf these weapons entirely this season or completely change the next season to bring the original motive back to the game. Fortnite is seemingly loosing its appeal to even have fun which is what it was for originally. Players are taking advantage of these items and making it hard to have fun. Players have lost interest in the game because of this. You shouldn’t have to fill every item slot with mythic weapons to win in a gun game. 

Fortnite also doesn’t do much about players using cheats or hacks in the game. Recently in a solo victory cup several players were witnessed to be cheating and seemingly nothing was done about it. The cheats, glitches, and hacks don’t get fixed and they ultimately ruin the game. In battle royal and Zero Build lobbies players can be seen winning the game by using things like infinite health cheats or glitches and Fortnite doesn’t do anything about it.

Sign this petition to show Fortnite that they need to listen to the players. The game is ultimately not fun for new players anymore. Players are constantly cheating and glitching themselves to win. Players don’t take advantage of ranked lobbies and instead take over unranked lobbies and make it hard for anyone to get anywhere. Fortnite needs to do something to make the game playable for everyone again without having to use super overpowered weapons and other things to get anywhere. No we don’t have specific things listed to add or change as this is only for Fortnite to see that the game has lost its appeal to new players and some old players.
