I am 26 years old, have 3 children and I have suffered 3 miscarriages. I asked to be sterilized and was told that I was not eligible as I am under the age of 30 and have no medical need. I find this unfair. The government only provides funding through Child Tax Credits for a maximum of 2 children. I believe that a mother should have the right to make this choice for herself no matter if there is a medical need or not.
