I may not have posted this update on New Year's Day but I was meaning to get posting an update. Now it's 2026 and we have gotten 138 signatures so far. When I posted my last update in November, we had 132. 6 signatures in a month and a half. I really want to hone in getting more signatures this year. We have midterms coming up in November. 11 months and everybody will be voting for the U.S. House. Approximately a third of the Senate will be elected. 33 States will elect senators for Congress. This could be something to help show candidates what they could focus on in the election and they could focus on when they're elected. For this having any chance of getting passed before then, it will need to gain hundreds more of signatures within the next couple weeks. I know that it might not be possible to get the signatures we need in the upcoming weeks for this to gain traction to possibly get it passed before election day but the least I could ask is for anyone reading this to share as much as they could. Share on social media, like on Facebook or on Twitter, or through email. I feel like I can't do everything myself. I always share the link to this petition on updates of my other petitions but they are never enough. I could share this petition's link in this update if you need it.
