Make EA fix the issues of FC 26 on PC
Il problema
EA Sports, the PC community of EA FC 26 is asking for urgent action.
Since launch, the PC version of the game has been plagued by severe input lag on controllers (delays of several seconds between pressing a button and seeing the action on screen), FPS drops even on high-end systems, stuttering during transitions and cutscenes, persistent lag in menus with 100% GPU usage, and worsening performance after recent updates.
These are not isolated cases, they are widely reported issues on EA’s official forums, Reddit, and Steam.
What we’re asking for
- high-priority optimization patch for PC to reduce input lag and improve — or fix completely — frame pacing and in-game/online stability.
- A documented fix for FPS drops (including those that occur after halftime or cutscenes) and for micro-freezes.
- Transparent communication: detailed patch notes, clear status of known bugs, and realistic timelines.
- Targeted PC testing (different CPUs/GPUs, drivers, and controllers) before future updates are released.
Why sign
Controller input lag makes the game unplayable for many players. Some report delays of 1–2 seconds or more, especially online — even on solid hardware and fast internet connections.
FPS drops can fall to 5–10 fps during matches or after cutscenes/halftime, breaking gameplay rhythm and unfairly deciding matches.
Community guides and “workarounds” (FPS caps, driver tweaks, launching via NVIDIA app, etc.) show this is not an isolated issue but a systemic problem. DIY fixes are not enough — we need an official patch.
Public examples of reports
Reddit megathread on PC input delay, involving multiple hardware configurations.
Official EA forums: “drops to 4–10 FPS during matches”; “massive input delay just seconds into the game after the update”; “lag during corners and free kicks not fixed by patch 1.03.”
Steam: players report up to 5 seconds of controller delay.
We ask EA Sports to officially acknowledge these issues on PC and to provide a clear action plan with defined timelines.
The PC community deserves the same quality experience as console players, especially since we pay the EXACT same price.
👉 Sign and share this petition: the more of us there are, the sooner we can go back to playing football — not fighting lag.
