Pennsylvania is one of only 13 states that does not make driver’s education a requirement to get a license. Imagine a larger responsibility than driving a 5,000lb machine with no formal education required. PA drivers don’t know the law, the rules of the road or any other important information that is learned over years of driving. PA is in the top 10 states with the highest rate of fatal crashes. 

Our state spends millions of dollars on enforcement of driving infractions, but does not equip its young people with the knowledge they need to do the right thing.
