Join this petition, if you support the idea of separating church and state, limiting the influence of religion over state and lawmakers, stopping religion from messing with human rights. A lot of vulnerable people have been harmed in different ways by religious ideologies. We have to find a way to protect people from harmful ideologies.

Churches should pay taxes, like everyone else. When churches pay taxes, the money can be used for solving hunger, problems in healthcare, investing in social services, etc...

When politicians/legislators want to make new laws, they should focus on actual science, studies/researches, not on religion, religious beliefs, myths, and stereotypes. 

If lawmakers listen to religious groups, this will lead to implementation of bad science in law. A lot of harmful bills (laws) were passed under the influence of puritan/religious groups.

The SISEA bill, for example, is a product of misrepresented data, false claims (lies), stereotypes, myths, and religious beliefs that are harming sex workers, LGBT+ people, women's rights. 

Since 1970s, we have a lot of puritan/religious groups/movements that are attacking women's rights, LGBT+ rights, sex work. For example, not so long ago, religious groups decided to begin the new push for abolishing pornography, harming sex workers by implementing extreme restrictions (e.g. nordic model, SISEA bill), harming LGBT+ people, reducing women's rights, because all these rights/freedoms are against the word of God. 

Not so long ago, religiously motivated anti-porn/anti-sex work groups, such as NCOSE (a rebrand of 1960s anti-porn group Morality in Media), Exodus Cry (an offshoot of Missouri’s International House of Prayer) and Fight the New Drug (whose connections to the Mormon Church, despite of their loud protestations, are too numerous to mention), decided to start their misinformation campaign, called "TraffickingHub". This campaign (traffickinghub) is using misrepresented data, false rape stories, "proofs" such as blacked out images, photoshopped images, anonymous texts/testimonies sent by anonymous people with no faces and names, texts taken out of context, to make sex work and pornography to look bad. Their end goal is to abolish pornography and sex work, by stigmatizing both. They didn't have any real evidence, so as "evidence" they used blacked-out images, photoshopped images, testimonies sent from anonymous people with no faces and names, false anonymous witnesses with no faces and names, texts takes out of context, etc... 

These groups (and other puritan grassroot groups) launched coordinated attack on porn. They called their anti-porn campaign, TraffickingHub. To gain attention and donatin, they used the name "PornHub", because this name is popular enough, so they can gain attention and donations.

Two of the main propagandists of the TraffickingHub campaign were two women,  and Avri Sapir. The false stories of these two women, were used by NCOSE (Morality in Media) and Eodus Cry. 

NCOSE (Morality in Media) tweeted  false story. They said that  was beaten, stabbed, raped, and then the video was uploaded on PornHub.

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE), formerly organized as Morality in Media (MIM), simply lied. And they used the name "PornHub", because this name is popular enough, so they can gain attention. All religious groups are using the name "PornHub", because this name is popular enough. They never mentioned other pornographic websites. In fact, NCOSE is against everything: proof1 proof2 proof3

Exodus Cry was pushing the story of Avri Sapir, another TraffickingHub propagandist. They said that Avri Sapir was raped, and then the video was uploaded on PornHub. However, this rape didn't happen. Avri Sapir's story is debunked too.

Like, Avri Sapir used blacked-out images, photoshopped images, anonymous testimonies, texts taken out of context too. 

The end goal of Exodus Cry, is to abolish pornography, and to establish the "Nordic Model" for sex work. This model view all sex workers as victim. 

Regardless of their intention, laws against buying sex and against the organisation of sex work can harm sex workers.

For example, many sex workers have talked about feeling pressured to visit customers’ homes so that buyers can avoid the police – meaning sex workers have less control and may have to compromise their safety.

Under the Nordic Model, sex workers are still penalized for working together, or organizing, in order to keep themselves safe.

They can also face difficulties in securing accommodation as their landlords can be prosecuted for letting premises to them. This can lead to forced evictions of sex workers from their homes.

Exodus Cry and other groups that are against sex workers and pornography, are trying to implement the nordic model, because they want to ruin sex workers. Nordic Model = extreme restrictions. SISEA bill = extreme restrictions. The Nordic Model has been debunked.

The real reason why these anti-sex and anti-porn groups never mention males, is because they are fundamentalists. According to their religious dogma, only females can be victims, but males can't be victims, because males are viewed as powerful and made in God's image.

These stories are just two examples. There are a lot of other groups, some of them grassroot, that are spreading lies (false stories), misrepresented data, myths, and stereotypes about sex work and pornography. 

"Fight The New Drug", for example, which is connected to the Mormon Church, is calling porn, "drug". Why do they call porn, "drug"? Porn can't insert chemicals in your brain. Sex and porn aren't drugs - and sex/porn addiction is not a real thing. No serious scientist will tell you that sex addiction is a real thing.

All misinformation, all false claims, all false stories the anti-porn movement (in this case, TraffickingHub) spread, resulted in SISEA. The SISEA bill, if passes, will harm sex workers, by implementing extreme restriction on sex work, and further limit the ability of sex workers to work freely. The anti-porn movement is also behind the push for the implementation of the "Nordic Model", which is criticized by Amnesty International, as i said earlier.

The false stories of Avri Sapir and , were used by Fake journalist Nicholas Kristof. He published the 2 false stories on New York Times. His actions made Visa and MasterCard to stop processing payments for PornHub, because a  lot of sheep-people believed the story - so Visa and MasterCard decided that if they don't stop processing payments for PornHub, sheep-people will star accusing them for funding human trafficking. After all investigations against PornHub, no violations were found. When it comes to "child porn", the reason why they talk about PornHub, but never mentioned Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Deep Web, is because the hypocritical, puritan attack is against the porn industry, so they need to use popular names (e.g. PornHub) that will allow them to gain attention. They DON'T fight against child sexual exploitation, they DON'T care about victims...

These religious groups are using fear mongering strategy, as i said earlier. They use the fear of child sexual exploitaton to scare people, so people can donate money to the puritan movements.

The power of church should we lowered. They say evolution is not real, God created humans in His image. This claim is used as an excuse to attack women's rights, LGBT+ people, sex workers, pornography - because these things, they say, are against the word of God.

Religion is also used to justifie hate crimes. Religious people are more likely to commit hate crimes against LGBT+ people, and to discriminate disabled people. Because their Holy Book says that being LGBT+ is against God, and being disabled is punishment from God, because you are bad.

Religious people are under the influence of their religious dogma that says that everything against the word of God, should be destroyed. For example, according to Islam and Christianity, LGBT+ people and disabled people are against the word of God. Disabled people are punished by God, or possessed by demons, according to religious dogmas. This is why disabled people and LGBT+ people are often victims of religious hate crimes.

There are countries that criminalize homosexual sex, LGBT+ people, sex workers... open-minded females are being discriminated as "whores", "trash", etc... 

Here are just a few examples of problems religion can lead to:

1. Discriminating women because they became pregnant while not married.

2. Business owners refusing to provide insurance coverage for contraception for their employees. (Restricting access to contraception)

3. Some social workers, who are religious, sometimes refuse to counsel/help LGBT+ people.

4. A lot of religious people are discriminating disabled people, because of the idea that disabled people are possessed by demons, or punished by God.

5. Under the influence of huge religious population, legislators can introduce religion-based law regarding pornography and sex work. These religion-based anti-sex/anti-porn laws are always based on stereotypical, hyper-scandalised, and oversimplified ideas about what is pornography and sex work. These ideas/laws are always wrong.

6. Religion is suppressing sex-ed, which leads to less knowledge about sex, more unwanted pregnancies.

7. Religion can lead to religious extremism, terrorism, suicides, justified murders... "in the name of God". Honor killing is an example of religiously justified murder

8. Religion creates distraction from reality. Most religious people are creationists, fundamentalists. Creationism claims humans are created in the image of God, i.e. in the present form. Under the influence of religious parents, a lot of little kids are pressured to walk with signs "God Hates Fags!". There are islamic countries, in which, again little kids, are forced to kill other people, by cutting of their heads. From very early age, these kids are being indoctrinated they must kill in the name of Allah. In the West, from early age, kids are being indoctrinated they must hate LGBT+ people, because LGBT+ people are hated by God. When these indoctrinated kids grow up, they are very likely to commit hate crimes.

Terrorism is carried out by religious people, because they think that if they kill other people in the name of "god", then it's justified and "god" will be happy. Rape of children, rape of grown people, murders of boys and girls, blackmailing, domestic violence, bride-kidnapping or forced marriage, child marriage, brutal methods of death penalty such as stoning and hanging, death penalty for blasphemy, murdering of women because of divorce, hate crimes against LGBT+ people, disabled people... everything of this, and much more, is justified by religion.

In the United States, for example, there are a lot of people who think the US is a christian nation. This is the reason why there are thousands of churches and a lot of mega-churches. Bishops/pastors and other religious figures are lying and scamming people. They organize huge events, invite a lot of people, and start lying people, so people can donate money. These money aren't being used for good, such as helping, feeding poor people. These money are being used by the religous "teachers" to buy expensive cars, expensive houses, and other luxury stuff. These religious figures are making fun on disabled people, by scamming them. 

How do they scam sick people? When people are desperate, they will believe almost anything. This psychological trick is exploited by bishops, pastors and spiritual healers. They offer prays and magic to cure all diseases. However, people who get magic as a "cure", instead of real medical help, die.

What these scammers do, is to pretend they have a connection with God, and God gives them supernatural powers to cure people. They push conflicting worldviews, as well. They use logical fallacies such as the Strawman logical fallacy.

The "Genesis II Church of Health and Healing", for example, offers the so-called Miracle Mineral Supplement - they promote this "supplement" as a cure for all diseases - example: HIV, cancer, autism, diabete... However, this "supplement" was debunked many times.

Using magic, magical potions, spells, to cure diseases, is a scam! Scam! This is the result of religion and other spiritual practices. There are spiritual scammers all over the world. For example, Rene Mey, who is self-proclaimed "healer", is traveling from country to country, lying people he can cure all diseases. There are desperate, very sick people, who believe - instead of receiving real medical attention, they decided to go to Rene Mey. Rene Mey is getting a lot of money from people buying tickets and donating. However, he didn't cure any diseases. Rene Mey is making scams all over the world, not only in one country. The last time i heard of Rene Mey, was when was in Bulgaria to scam people with cancer, diabetes, and serious mental illnesses. People as Rene Mey are going in poor countries with low health-care, where there are a lot of poor and desperate people who are easier to be scammed.

Another example of such scammers, is pastor Benny Hinn who created his church in 1983 - today, ministries of his church are everywhere in the world. He pretend to be able to cure all diseases, so he can attract donations. He is scamming people. His net worth is more than 60 million. He has private jets, luxury cars, luxury houses, and he is full of gold. Even when Benny Hinn was Exposed by his own nephew, people still continued to believe and give money.

Similar scams are being carried out by psychics (and astrologists) who pretend to be able to gain information about the future (predict the future). These scammers use strategies such as cold reading, or hot reading, and prestidigitation, to scam people. All these strategies are debunked by James Randi years ago. James Randi also exposed Sylvia Browne and her false claims about talking with dead people. He also explained how to squash a paranormal claim on Big Think. James Randi is the person who also launched the One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge aka the Randi Challenge. The fact no one won the challenge, is REAL PROOF that all these spiritual healers, magic potions, psychics, astrologists, pastors, etc... are scams/scammers.

No one has ever produced evidence of supernatural powers such as healing, for example. If they can't heal why are they allowed to require donations from people? These actions should be criminalized, so no more people be scammed. Every year billions are given to these charlatans.

These religious/spiritual movements/groups have extremely strong power in the United States of America. All powerful mega churches, all rich pastors, all powerful sects and cults, are concentrated in the US. In the US, there are a lot of people who support these organizations by donating money. These organizations grow big and powerful, they send people in the Congress. Then they push creationism and "alternative facts" in the classroom. They use misrepresented information about evoluton (Strawman fallacy), logical fallacies such as the god of the gaps logical fallacy, so they can convince students to believe creationist nonsense. This nonsense creates distraction from the reality - religion poisons the mind.

The Baptist church clearly directs hate towards LGBT+ people. Their website is called godhatesfag.com. On their website, they have quotes such as these:

"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." Chapter 20 verse 13"

These religious groups are making protests against sex work/sex workers, pornography, LGBT+ people, they hold signs with the words "GOD HATES FAGS", they want to stigmatize sex workers, they have puritan worldview, they spread hate against LGBT+ people and sex workers, they are racist, they are xenophobic, they support brutal death penalty methods such as stoning, they are against harm reduction programs, they are against scientific consensus, they reject evolution. They say evolution isn't true, therefore "god" created us, therefore being L/G/B/T is bad. They are against immigrants. There are males who are fundamentalists, they view women as property/object. All these groups, males and females, protest not only against the things i mentioned, but against science too. They protest against GMO crops, ignoring the fact that such technology can help fixing world hunger by making plants/animals more resistant. They are against the ban of conversion therapy. They protest against vaccines, claiming the mark of the beast is inside vaccines.

In the US, these religious groups claim that they have the right to do that, because the constitution of US is based on their religion, so, they say, everyone must listen to their religious dogma.

Well, this is not true. The US is based on secularism. Founding Fathers knew about the dangers of mixing religion and politics. 

Also, the constitution of the US was NOT inspired by Moses.

Religion has no place in the modern world. Religion contributes to hate crimes, wars, hatred, discrimination, xenophobia, homophobia, gender-based violence, justified murders, stigma, and violations of human rights.

We have to be mature. Morality doesn't mean hate. Religious morality is hate. Religious morality, for example, accepts slavery, but rejects same-sex relationships. Morality should makes people happy and minimize suffering. Slavery is suffering, but it's accepted by religion, same-sex relationships are not suffering, but aren't accepted by religion, therefore religious moral is not valid. Atheist nations are more peaceful and tolerant than religious nations. This is because atheist nations adopted the values of secular humanism - while religous dogmas are contributing to hate crimes, hate, and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender.

Religions should be separated from governments. Instead of using religious dogmas, ideologies of hate, governments should adopt secular humanism values.

When lawmakes make laws regarding the society, they should focus on real science, actual data/studies, not on religious beliefs, myths, and stereotypes.

Governments must forget about religion, and start investing more money in science! Religious organizations don't have to mess with politics by pushing laws in favor with their harmful ideologies.

The idea of this petition is to make governments to tax religious services... or atleast to show the number of people who are in favor with the idea. If religious services are taxed, the money can be used for good such as investing in health-care, reducing global hunger, and social services. The original idea of the church is to help poor and vulnerable people - but they (church) don't do it... They have to be taxed, and money used for good.
