The Issue

Push Michigan legislators to pass house bill 5019, requiring law enforcement to wear body cams. We need to push for this as the house and Senate is adjourned until September 7th, 2022. We need to put pressure on them to pass this bill for the safety of all Michiganders.

Here is a link for information on the bill

In the most recent light; Joey Nagle, was killed by an Allegan county deputy. Joey was unarmed. The deputy was not wearing a body cam,  and the vehicle was not equipped with a dash cam. Allegan county had already received the cams but had not implemented them throughout the department.

This has happened to countless others as well throughout the state of Michigan.

This is a fight we all need to join. Protect Michiganders from police brutality. Sign this petition to push for house bill 5019 to be passed.
