Make Battlefield XP Boosters Only Count During Active Gameplay

Make Battlefield XP Boosters Only Count During Active Gameplay

The issue

Battlefield players invest time, effort, and money to enhance their experience — including purchasing or earning XP boosters. But currently, these boosters deplete in real time, even when players are not actively in a match.

This means valuable time is lost in menus, matchmaking, or downtime — and players don’t receive the full benefit of what they’ve paid for or earned.

We’re calling on the developers of Battlefield (DICE / Ripple Effect / EA) to fix this by making XP boosters count down only during active gameplay.

💡 Why This Matters
XP boosters are meant to reward players and enhance their time in-game — not penalize them for being idle, waiting in lobbies, or disconnected.
By changing the system so boosters only deplete during active matches, Battlefield can:

Ensure players get fair value for their purchases and rewards
Improve player satisfaction and trust
Encourage more players to engage with the in-game progression system
This is a simple and fair adjustment that benefits both the community and the developers.

🧭 Our Request
We ask that Battlefield developers update the XP booster mechanics so that:

⏱️ XP boosters only count down during active gameplay sessions.
