Hi Super supporters!

Today I am announcing a day of action on Monday 20th January in support of the campaign and I need your help!

Tomorrows action involves posting a picture on social media of yourself holding a piece of paper with a message written on it. The aim of this is to raise awareness of the issue and to show decision makers how many of us want them to remove plastic from their period products!

This is a positive way of taking action, by doing this together we can make a big difference and further pressure decision makers to bring about change. I would really appreciate your support with this and all pictures will be shared/re-tweeted from my social media accounts!

What you need to do:

1)   Get some paper or recycled cardboard and a thick pen.

2)   Write one of these examples on your paper/cardboard:
- I/we want manufacturers to ditch period plastic!
- I don’t want plastic in my period products!
- We don’t want plastic in our period products!
- I/we say no to period plastic!
- Manufacturers need to break the plastic cycle, period!

3)   Take a picture of yourself holding the sign. (Like mine above)

4)   Post your picture on social media tomorrow along with the example:
I’m taking action today because period plastic is unnecessary and needs to be stopped at source by manufacturers. It’s time for change to happen! Www.change.org/plasticfreeperiods #EndPeriodPlastic
