Hi Super Supporters!

Last week I met decision maker Aldi. I delivered the petition to their head office in Atherstone and met their representatives to discuss the campaign.

In the meeting I talked to them about the unnecessary plastic content in their own-brand period products, the avoidable impacts and why they need to bring about change. I also spoke about stopping the production of their own-brand plastic applicators and making eco-friendly products available. I raised concerns, asked questions and made suggestions as to how they can make a positive difference.

Their representatives were eager to hear what the campaign is asking for, answered my questions and keenly engaged in the conversation. They openly discussed and shared the changes and steps that they are looking to make, which I am unable to share at this time.

Aldi have committed to an open dialogue and although I can’t share what changes they are looking to make; something is happening very soon! They are going to keep me updated when changes take place and I will keep you informed of this!

There is going to be an important campaign update next week with an action you can get involved with, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
