Even in states where abortion access is banned or severely limited, you can still receive care in ALL 50 states, up to 14 weeks gestation, and for as low as $5 (using the plancpills.org “pay what you can” model.)

Even still, access to a resource doesn’t mean much if people don’t know it exists or how to navigate it! And it can be scary doing it alone, especially in a red state.

There are lots of people like me spreading the word, but I am facing a significant backlog of people needing help.

I have received hundreds of DMs from people trying to understand their options. Many are scared, struggling financially, or living in states with strict abortion bans. 

Every single person who reaches out to me deserves help, and this is becoming tough for one person to manage on my own.

So, what do we need?

We need to make abortion accessible and affordable for EVERYONE!

We need broader public investment in reproductive health resources, education, navigation, and access.

With adequate funding, both established organizations AND small community networks could  reach more people, provide accurate information, help people navigate barriers to care, offer support and resources to those in need, and reduce the enormous demand on grassroots networks and individual advocates like me.

Obtaining an abortion should not depend on whether or not someone has enough money or the right connections to overcome the barriers in their state. Abortion is a human right that must remain safe, legal, and easily accessible to EVERYONE.

And what are we asking Congress to do?

Please sign this petition calling on Congress to establish and fund a NATIONAL abortion access support initiative.

This initiative would provide grants to non-profit organizations and community based programs working to ensure people can access reliable information, support, and timely access to all of their reproductive options.

Federal funding would support abortion education, resource navigation, multilingual outreach, confidential hotlines and peer support, online resources, mental health support, and logistical assistance for people facing barriers to care.

NO ONE should lose access to reproductive healthcare due to lack of knowledge, lack of finances, or geographical location!
