Make 432 Hz the Global Standard for Musical Tuning

Make 432 Hz the Global Standard for Musical Tuning
The Issue
To:
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Gibson, Yamaha, and the worldwide community of artists, producers, and instrument makers.
⸻
Music is vibration, and vibration shapes emotion, biology, and culture.
In 1955 the ISO adopted A = 440 Hz as a convenient tuning reference, but never because it was proven best for the human ear or the natural world.
Many musicians, researchers, and listeners now recognize that A = 432 Hz resonates more harmonically with the Schumann resonance of the Earth, the Fibonacci sequence, and the human voice itself.
When instruments, digital tracks, and live performances are tuned to 432 Hz, people consistently report deeper relaxation, lower heart rate, and greater emotional clarity.
We are not asking for censorship of 440 Hz music.
We are asking for choice. For major labels, streaming platforms, and instrument makers to support 432 Hz editions and tunings, and for the ISO to study and update Standard 16 to include 432 Hz as the preferred harmonic reference.
This is an invitation to bring art and science together for the next evolution of music: one that serves human health as well as entertainment.

This petition is launched by musician and sound researcher Jesse Blaze Snider, creator of the Solfeggio Transmissions project, which is dedicated to bringing healing frequencies back into mainstream music.
As a lifelong musician, I’ve witnessed firsthand how frequency shapes emotion and well-being. When I began creating and performing music tuned to 432 Hz, the effect was immediate: listeners described feeling calmer, clearer, and more connected. This movement is about giving every artist and listener the chance to experience that same natural harmony.
