Reinstate Dame Agatha Christie's waxwork in its rightful place in Madame Tussauds
The issue
In the late 60s or early 70s Dame Agatha Christie, the world's best-selling author of all time, sat for Madame Tussauds while they took countless measurements. She also donated a dress, as was the custom. Her waxwork was on display with Alfred Hitchcock for a while. He is still on display, but her waxwork is currently held in a private holding area. Why is she not on display with the other literary greats, Wilde, Dickens and Shakespeare? With big Hollywood films of four of Agatha Christie's stories (Crooked House, Murder on the Orient Express, Witness for the Prosecution and And Then There Were None) due in the near future there would seem to be no better time to put the waxwork of this wonderful lady back on display. Please make this happen, Madame Tussauds!
