LT's just announced a "Grading Clarification and Revision". Please read the embedded link in your email from the principal. Perhaps this is progress, although I would caution all who signed the petition to keep in mind that LT's original "Vision for Grading" has not been retracted. It still contains some very disturbing language. "A grade must not, a grade must not....and included is measure effort, punctuality, participation, organization, etc.

It is hard to say that these things are not characteristic of successful adults, but evidently, we still don't need  them in HS.  We (those that signed this change.org)  know however, that these characteristics are valued in life. Continue to support your child's academic wellness and promote a  personal vision that counts effort, etc. even if your HS refuses.
