To us, The Walking Dead fans, the main characters, (especially those from the first three seasons) are very important.

Whether it was intended to be a character based show or not, it has become one. 

So far, we've lost some very beloved characters. Here is the is list of those who have gone before;

Amy, Andrea, Dale, Shane, Sophia, T-dog, Merle (yes, Merle), Lori, Herschel, Beth (for no reason at all), Glenn and now Carl!

Only Rick and Carol remain from season one. If we lose Michonne, Maggie, Rick or Morgan I believe the integrity of the show will suffer a fatal blow.

These should be considered seasoned survivors and must remain in order to retain the loyalty of us, the remaining fans.

If Scott Gimple and AMC care AT ALL about the loyal WD fans and our attachments to those we've come to know and love, this show is doomed. 

As a superfan of the Walking Dead, I invite this world into my home every Sunday night. I've been through every step with them, and (speaking for the rest of us) we have a real emotional relationship with them.  

I don't appreciate having our emotions toyed with in this cheap, gratuitous manner. 

To AMC and Scott Gimple. You are losing your fan base. It has been said, so often, that the Cast and Crew of TWD do what you do for us, the fans. Please stop ruining it for us, this show deserves better, and so do we.
