Hello to all our new supporters, we are amazed to have gained over 60,000 more since our last update!
Elaine had her first treatment last week and so far so good � it wouldn’t have been possible but for the kindness of everyone who has taken the time to donate and/or share our page and we can never thank you enough
We have had a busy time recently- the press have picked up on our fight and we have met with a number of journalists to share our story on BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-65722401 GB news (waiting for link) and WM Radio (to be aired on Monday) We need to get the decision makers to realise that cancer is cancer and it shouldn’t matter what type of cancer you have, if there is a drug that is proven to work it should be everyones human right to have access to it without having the worry of having to pay for it.
We believe the Medicines and Healthcare
products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and NICE who both come under the umbrella of the Department of Health and social care should and must fast track the use of Enhertu to all Lung Cancer sufferers who have the HER2 mutation now!
Elaine’s next treatment is on 12 June- and we have started to raise more funds to help pay for this next round. We are not giving up fighting the cancer or the system!
