Coach Gomez is starting his 18th year working at LCU. In His time there he has been a supportive leader to his team. Despite his great achievements he remains the same humble man who treats everyone he meets with the same respect and care as he does his players. He is a Godly influence to his players as well as among the LCU and overall Lubbock community.

The goal of this petition is to honor this Godly, influential, and beloved local hero by naming the Lubbock Loop 289 in his honor.
