Nike’s SNKRS App needs to be significantly altered to sell shoes to its fans, not to third party resellers!

I am a longtime “member” of the SNKRS Nike app which offers a supposedly exclusive access to premier Nike shoes. The app uses a series of either “random” drawings or rapid sales which often result in items being either sold out within seconds, error messages during purchasing, or simply being told we were not chosen.

The Nike team in the past has said their app is created to prevent hacking or bots from infiltrating their system, but all shoe fans know that as soon as the drawings are closed or sold out, hundreds of pairs are suddenly on sale on eBay or other third party selling websites, often for 2x, 3x, or even higher outrageous prices!

This means that fans DO NOT get premier access to their favorite shoes, they instead have to either lose out or pay exorbitant third party selling prices for the same shoe at multiple times MSRP. 

Nike must decide to either revamp their SNKRS app to allow more access, filter out large companies/third party members spamming the app at once, OR produce larger quantities of these premier shoes so third party selling is eliminated.

I am a die-hard Kobe fan, and I’ve struck out on the last several Kobe drawings, it’s either internally rigged or completely infiltrated and inundated by bots/resellers. It makes no sense to sell their best shoes in this current system as the only benefactors are the high volume third party sellers, and ordinary fans like myself are being driven away from the Nike brand completely.
