I, along with many other students at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology, struggle due to the institution's excessive condonation fee of 10,000rupees to 25,000 rupees - a dramatic contrast to the rates implemented by other colleges, which usually charge between 300 to 2500 rupees. Such high fees for students with an attendance rate between 65% and 75% is not just unfair - it is exploitative. On top of this, the college does not consistently update attendance, adding more uncertainty for students' financial obligations.

The situation is extremely tricky as the condonation is never asked officially. It is unofficial and if not paid by the student,  hall ticket for the exam will not be provided unless special permission is given. 

Our college also imposes several other fees under vague names like "DSA fees" or "other fees". While we understand that running an educational institution is costly, these charges create an untenable situation for students. The financial strain unfairly burdens us, even more so in current challenging economic conditions, causing unnecessary worry on top of our academic. Asking for such amount when the college recently constructed and opened a new building and are in the process of constructing another building feels very unfair.

The reality is, many students are in a tough financial situation. We plead with the administration of KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology to revise their condonation fee structure to make education accessible for all, regardless of their financial circumstances. We urge you to reconsider this policy and establish a fair, transparent fee system that does not overburden the students.
