The Issue
In the the United States we have denied certain people of their rights. For people who are attracted to 16 and 17 year olds but cannot date them because right now the minor age is set at 18 and should be 16. Why allow other countries to be lower than us? Why do 16 year olds very mature when they get their driver license, but can not date who they want.
In 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, "Andrew Yang" explained on why we should lower the voting age to 16. I cannot remember what he said, but it was at a dinner event taking questions, but the stuff he said was very inspiring. I remember when I was 16 and I wanted to vote, but could not because I was told you had to be 18. How many 16 year olds right now that wish they could vote in this 2022 election, but cannot because of the law. 16 year olds should be allow to buy scratch offs and lottery tickets, right to vote, right to date whoever is equal or older than them. They should be allowed to watch and do porn.
I do not wish for pedophiles to date children but maybe they will stop being one if we lower the minor age to 16 as a start to help them control their urges for ones under 16 or more as a way to negotiate with them.
We need to change the the minor age from 18 to 16 and I ask everyone to sign this petition to get Congress to lower the age.
explain how you felt when you were 16 and wanted to date someone who is older than you. Sometimes we need to negotiate on issues like this to stop or slow down things people do that is not okay and lowering the age to 16 will help.
if we win and Congress does pass to lower the age to 16, not only will it slow down crime on pedophilia arrests, but will be a huge step to determine on which ones are the huge pedophiles out there. It takes lots of psychology to know that this will happen if we lower the age. Not only will lowering the age slow down pedophilia arrests, but people will have a happier life for the the 16 year old him/her/their self.
