Millions of Americans can vote, but not run for various elected positions. While other issues within the US voting system have been rectified over the last 250 years, this issue has remained salient among them. I believe every American deserves the right to run for office, especially if they can vote in that election. Due to the requirement for an Amendment to make any major change to the US minimum age for election to the Senate, House of Representatives, and Presidency, this will be a hard task, but for a good cause. Thus, I hope to secure your signature on this petition and hope to garner Washington's approval.
