My name is just one, but it carries the voices of many others who yearn for independence and opportunities to explore the world. I am a 16-year-old adventurer, passionate about exploring different places and gaining lifelong memories. Unfortunately, my ambition often encounters barriers, and one such barrier is Airbnb's stringent age policy. This policy states that persons under the age of 18 cannot engage with their services, effectively barring me and many others like me from enjoying beneficial travel options. 

Despite being diligent, responsible, and mature for our age, we're restricted from utilizing the life-enriching experiences that Airbnb can offer. This limitation doesn't only affect us, but it also extends to Airbnb's potential market share among teenagers.

The time has come to reconsider Airbnb's age policy. Many businesses, such as airlines and bus services, already permit 16-year-olds to use their services independently. Hence, it's not unprecedented to entrust teenagers with such responsibilities. We propose that Airbnb follow suit by lowering the age requirement to 16, providing many passionate young travelers like me with the chance to explore and learn.
